Besides doting on Matilda and staying awfully busy with a lot of other activities, Bill and Alma are bicycling around beautiful Melbourne.

 

 

Our house is near Yarra Bend Park and we have quick access to the 3,000 kms of great bike paths throughout Greater Melbourne, many of them along the beautiful Yarra River. One of our favorite rides is along the river to Southgate downtown, where we have an ice cream and pedal back home. But we’ve done some bike exploring further afield on the very nice rails-to-trails bike paths created on the roadbeds of long-disused steam railroad lines in country Victoria.
