Tilly is growing up fast as she Roars Past her 3d Birthday

(Last updated Jan. 24, 2005. Check for updates often)

Tilly is growing at a pretty fast pace, and in order to keep up with her I’ve created this webpage of constantly-rotating photographs. While passing through Hong Kong recently, I bought one of those very small, pocket-sized digital cameras to replace my old digital, and this should encourage me to take more pictures spontaneously wherever we go. When I do, I’ll put some up on this page and take older ones off.

That way, you won’t be able to say, "I can’t believe how Tilly has grown!" Seeing is believing.

Lisa recently enrolled Matilda Claiborne Murray-White in the Brunswick Kindergarden (pre-school) for the new year. Mum admits to shedding a tear or two in the process of this important milepost in litle Tilly’s life. After all, there could be a slight case of empty-nest syndrome, even though Tilly will be in school only for a few hours a week. But then the arrival Sept. 22 of baby Nel has already guarenteed that gap will be quickly filled. Tilly is bravely trying to come to terms with the idea of no longer completely cornering the market for attention. But I think she’s growing into the notion of having a sibling, and eventually will come to love it. Meanwhile, Tilly is still talking nonstop these days. She’s definitely no shrinking violet. But she’s a constant joy to her parents and grandparents.

Here are a few recent pictures selected randomly from my growing database of digital Tilly photos taken by me and various other Tilly-watchers:
